Trees for Life plants dedicated groves of trees to restore the ancient Caledonian Forest in the Scottish Highlands. We’ve planted over a million trees and are now working to expand the forests with a million more.

Tree planting

Your trees...

...will be planted with many other trees...

Forest create a beautiful, natural forest.

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.

A Grove of trees in the Highlands of Scotland

Headteacher Springfield School

Ian Cordingley

5th September 1950 - 2nd April 2010

Ian was a well respected headteacher at Springfield Special School for 16 years. His aspirations for the children and young people in his care removed the boundaries of disability. When he moved into a consultancy role in 2006 he took up the challenge of promoting equality of educational opportunities for all irrespective of ability or disability. He will be sorely missed.

From the staff and pupils of Springfield School.
