The first thing anyone says about Ray is 'what a gentleman he was'. Then they go on to recount some tale of a practical joke he played on them, or other mischief, and the sad look is replaced with a smile or a laugh. And that's how we all remember him; we can never be sad for long, as there is always something comforting to remember. He was always ready to help, always there to protect. What a gentleman he was.
