Young Scot has developed #iwill Rewards, supporting young people to be involved in social action across their communities. We have chosen to partner with Trees for Life to support a cause that young people across Scotland are passionate about. Young Scot Rewards users will be able to ‘donate’ their points to trees being planted and contribute to the restoration of the Caledonian Forest.

Young Scot’s impact is achieved through a variety of activities, including provision of relevant and accessible high quality online and offline information, online and face-to-face engagement, plus Scotland’s Youth Smartcard – the Young Scot National Entitlement Card – to access services and opportunities. The Young Scot National Entitlement Card (NEC), carried by over 630,000 cardholders, gives young people access to a range of services, discounts and opportunities, including the Rewards programme.

The latest service to be added to the card is Young Scot Rewards; Rewards is a pioneering and well established digital programme comparable to loyalty models used by the private sector. Rewards provide over 70,000 young people across Scotland with equal access to incredible, positive opportunities, recognising their valuable contributions both nationally and locally and celebrating their achievements.

Users collect points for participating in activities such as healthy eating, sharing their opinions, volunteering or sports coaching and then use their points to redeem rewards which are positive opportunities and experiences designed to open up further personal development opportunities.

The ethos behind Young Scot Rewards is a simple one: rewarding young people for making choices that have a positive impact on themselves, their communities and the environment.

Young Scot has developed a package of #iwill Rewards, supporting young people to be involved in social action across their communities; translating as volunteering, campaigning and fundraising. We have chosen to partner with Trees for Life to support a cause that young people across Scotland are passionate about. Young Scot Rewards users will be able to ‘donate’ their points to trees being planted and contribute to the restoration of the Caledonian Forest. Visit #will Rewards for more information.

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
