In memory of John W. Squires Sr. and John W. Squires Jr. who were all about the tree.
Donated by James Squires
31st October 2016
John W. Squires Sr. and his son John W. Squires Jr., now deceased, were both foresters. They were very involved in planting trees which has made Trees for Life a wonderful way to remember "Big John", John W. Squires Jr. The Squires family of seven, on many occasions, participated together planting trees on their tree farm in Mississippi, USA. A grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands named for John W. Squires Jr. and his dad, will be a lasting tribute to their families as a true patron of nature and especially the tree. Big John was the tree of his family, strong roots, a solid trunk and all his wonderful branches and leaves. They are both still alive in our hearts. James and Vicki Squires
