Planting trees to make up for CO2 emissions from flights done over the year. 1 tree for a short flight, 3 for a long-haul, and 5 for a super long-haul
Information is not knowledge. Knowledge is not wisdom. Wisdom is not truth. Truth is not beauty. Beauty is not love. Love is not music. Music is THE BEST.

I travel a lot for work, a lot of flights. I've been keeping track of my flights this year, just came off my last one of the year, bringing my total to 54 flights in 2016. Trying to do a little to make up for all the emissions from my flights, i used information for a couple of studies for effect of flights, average lifetime of trees, how much CO2 they absorb, and calculated I need to plant 104 trees to offset my flights for 2016. If you've done some flights this year, fancy planting a tree or two as well? They're £5 each. My simple rule of thumb, 1 tree for a short flight, 3 for a long-haul, and 5 for a super long-haul.
