or are involved with.

Join us in our Millionth Tree Celebrations

Volunteers are invited to sign up for a leg of our Treelay. Starting on May 5th and walking around the boundary of our target area, it takes in many of the sites we've worked at over the years.

The legs are as follows:

  • May 5th, Dundreggan to Corrimony - 19km
  • May 6th, Corrimony to Coille Ruigh - 16km
  • May 7th to 8th, Coille Ruigh to Strathfarar - 30km
  • May 9th to 10th, Strathfarrar to Scatwell - 43km
  • May 11th, Scatwell to Grudie - 24km
  • May 12th, Grudie to Achnashellach (bike route) - 34km
  • May 13th to 14th, Acgnashellach to Attadale - 26km
  • May 15th, Attadale to Inverinate - 23km
  • May 16th, Inverinate to West Affric - 21km
  • May 17th, West Affric to Cougie - 17km
  • May 18th, Cougie to Inverwick - 13km
  • May 19th, Inverwick to Dundreggan - 13km

The planting of the Millionth Tree will take place on May 20th at Dundreggan. Wild Things will be providing bushcraft activities, there'll be a Woodland Orchestra and the Millionth Tree itself will be planted by Scottish wildlife camera-man and film maker wildlife Gordon Buchanan. The 2012 Conservation Holiday programme is running throughout the spring and the autumn, and for the first time we're also running a holiday in the summer. Holidays run from Saturday to Saturday every week during the season.

Spring - weekly, from:

  • March 17th through to June 2nd

Summer:

  • July 7th

Autumn - weekly, from:

  • September 1st through to November 10th
