For Christmas 2012 Jamie and Janine wanted to find presents that would contribute to the stability and diversity of the British environment, and to a better future for younger family members. As the Caledonian Forest is one of the UKs more endangered ecosystems and also home to some of our most cherished endangered species - red squirrels, wild cats, capercaillies - it seemed an appropriate gesture to buy a grove for the Cooper clan. I know it may seem a strange gesture, but a present that outlives us all seemed a lot healthier than one that loses its novelty in the first couple of months. We hope you'll agree! xoxoxo
