Matilda Kate Murray Odell grove

A grove of trees for you on your christening, dear Tilly. May you both grow with great strength and health. I look forward to the trip we will take one day to see your own beautiful piece of Scotland.

I am very honoured to be your Godmother. May this be the first piece of advice I can give you; as Mark Twain said:

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

With my fondest love, Claire X

Your grove of trees

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.

Twinflowers in bloom on pine woodland floor.
