This grove is in honor of Bill and Judy Osler's 50th Wedding Anniversary

which they celebrated on September 20th of 2009.

Bill and Judy celebrated 50 years of marriage with a trip to Scotland which they shared with their four sons and their spouses. They chose Scotland because part of the Osler family tree comes from here. We spent most of our time near St. Andrews, but Judy and Bill were drawn to see the Highlands and spent the better part of a day in the car traveling up and back to see them. Judy in particular, seemed quite taken with the area. When you have reached their youthful ages and have enjoyed 50 years of marriage, there is not much you really need. At this point in your life you hope to leave behind a legacy that your family can reflect on with love and pride. Their four boys, Mark, Darryl, Bruce, and Scott are much of that legacy, each having their own special talents and qualities. I thought it would be nice to add to this grove to their legacy and give back to the country that is part of the Osler heritage and that now holds a special place in our hearts.

So we dedicate this grove to Bill and Judy on the year of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Their grove starts with 8 trees and I hope we can all contribute a few extra to make it a full 50, one for each year of their love and dedication to each other and their family.
