A Grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands
In Loving Memory
Michael James Fitzpatrick
11/02/1973 - 10/01/2013

Michael James Fitzpatrick grove

This is in memory of a loving son,
father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend
Michael who has left us too soon.
We will all miss you and will love you forever.
Lots of love from all your family

Not, how did he die, but how did he live?
Not, what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away?

Dear Michael, I didn't know you but I Know your lovely Mom and I know the heartache of having a Son who leaves this life too soon. Fly high Michael, soar above the treetops and swoop to the side of your Mom whenever she cries x

Your grove of trees

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
