In Loving Memory of Elspeth Tuff (nee Ellis) Edinburgh, Scotland grove

Dear Mum In Heaven
I thought of you today,
But that is nothing new
I thought of you yesterday
And will tomorrow, too.
I think of you in silence
And make no outward show.
For what it meant to lose you
Only those who love you know.
Remembering you is easy,
I do it every day.
It's the heartache of losing you
That will never go away

In loving memory of a wonderful Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Never complaining, always putting others needs before your own, your love, kindness, patience, self-sacrifice, hard work, determination and sheer willpower were qualities you had in abundance, enabling you to successfully bring up your family through the toughest of times.

You taught us so much Mum about the qualities and things that matter in life - Oh how lucky we are to have had you as our Mum.

Passionate for Scotland's mountains, glens and beaches and for all living creatures, we plant these trees in your memory - may they grow strong, wild and free.

You are always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.

Your Loving Family

Your grove of trees

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.

Scots pine against a summer blue sky.
Twinflowers in bloom on pine woodland floor.
