Fresh View is proud and excited to be part of the trees for life initiative

Our grove of trees is dedicated to the passion and vision of our editor Jacqui Deoir who wanted to bring people to a considered compassionate and conscious lifestyle, making choices that ultimately benefit everything on our home planet Earth. Fresh View Publications started out December 2013 as Fresh Vegan Magazine dedicated to bringing awareness of a vegan based lifestyle to the public domain. The first 4 issues brought an awareness to independent conscious people working in the field of veganism. We believe this lifestyle is not only a choice for health and the animals but a conscious understanding of our environment and the impact that humans have on the planet with mass consumption and consumerism with no awareness of the inter connectedness of our actions. With a growing awareness as a publication that we needed to add the spheres of human spiritual, intellectual and scientific endeavour to round out our vision, Issue 5 saw the start of a re-branding and the new name Fresh View in order to expand the vision to include people and communities who are working tirelessly to promote compassion and understanding for every living part of our planet. This grove of trees represents the wish of each publication to expand without destroying plants, wildlife, trees or the environment by printing methods, which we believe in the long run is unsustainable, especially as many companies are using countries with a less conscious ethos of the environmental impact that such processes have. Digital publications do not incur air miles, the environmental impact of distribution, and the subsequent problems with the waste created from throwing away paper based products after use, we believe that digital has a lower impact on the planet, and that the use and development in this field is the way forward. In line with trees for life we do not believe that planting non native fast growing trees are healthy for indigenous plant and animal life. Fresh View is dedicated to staying digital and to promote digital as a sustainable tree friendly and less harmful way of sharing information. We are excited to be involved with trees for life and promote the re-wilding of Scotland Jacqui's native land, and eventually expanding this process to every part of the planet we know as home. Our wish for the future is that our readers and supporters will continue to help us add trees to our grove and that with every issue and feature that we do we will be adding to the value of our planet. Fresh View will add a tree for every new issue and we encourage and supporters to add more.

Your grove of trees

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
