A Grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands
Gray's Grove

9 September 2015 50th Birthday Celebration

This Grove was started to celebrate Graham Quiggan's 50th birthday. Graham loves the work that Trees For Life do and started Douglas Quiggan's Grove after our dad died several years ago. Graham is still alive and gigging and I thought our family rock star legend would appreciate a Grove of his own!

4th September 2015

Gray's Grove was started to celebrate my brother Graham Quiggan's 50th birthday on September 9th 2015. Graham is the best brother any girl could ask for and I love him dearly. Being a cross between and environmentalist and a rock star, Gray already knew about Trees For Life and started a Grove for our dad, Douglas Quiggan, when he died in 2008. I thought our own family rock legend might like a Grove of his own, in his own name - and so it its. Knowing our Gray, he'll want to go up and help plant the Grove, or at least visit it one day. Even if we don't all get to see it with our own eyes it is great to know there is a bit of the Caledonian forest being rejuvenated and wee beasties making their home in this beautiful place. Hopefully, long after we have all gone, Gray's Grove will continue to flourish. Perfect. A loving legacy for a cool chap. Happy Birthday bruv'.
