Soulspace Stirling meets every six weeks or so and provides a space for shared reflection for people of all faiths and none in the Stirling area. Soulspace was inspired by the spiritual uplift provided every year by the Solas Festival and aims to keep up that sense of spiritual flourishing through shared experiences throughout the year. The Soulspace Grove came out of a suggestion from our December 2015 Soulspace on Environment and is a recognition that we and our natural environment need to flourish together. One contribution that evening was Tree Meditation, a poem by Joe Reilly. Here is an extract. Well I could stand like a tree with my roots down deep and my branches wide open So I could see the blue sky above and feel the love from the clouds and my friends that I am singing of Well I have got a little garden growing in my heart Sown with seeds of poetry, music and art And I have been cultivating peace with my family This garden is grown with the whole community.
