This grove is for Ron, who loved Scotland and trees. It will be a living legacy.
Family and friends please feel free to add to this grove at anytime.

The first 8 trees were planted from Wife Jeanette, Children - Debbie, Andrew & Sharon,
Son & Daughter in Laws - Gary & Rebecca, Grandchildren - Harry & Kingsley

This grove is in memory of Ron, who loved Scotland & the outdoors although he would always be dressed suitably in Shirt, Tie & Jacket regardless of the weather.

Ron who after spending 31 years in the Met Police retired to Devon. He spent a lot of his time involved in charity work from collecting and sending out Hospital Equipment & Clothes to a much needed Hospital & Orphanage in Moldova to Co founding and running a local Heart Support Group. He also put his enthusiasm into devising and presenting quizzes to raise funds for a local Village hall.

Ron's love of Films, Classical Music, Art, Space/Science rubbed off on his children, which meant many a lengthy conversation with them about these subjects. He also loved recommending Films for people to see, and places to eat.

He decided at one point to spend time researching his family tree, which led to him discovering a distant relative in Canada, and struck up a friendship with her & her Partner, including recommending Classical Music for them to listen to. Below are the dedications from the family.
