The idea of this little bunch of trees is that it's for musicians, artists and performers who have to fly and drive a lot,
and want to help offset their CO2.

Musicians and artists are working in a global marketplace, and it often means lots of traveling is necessary. A fully-booked flight lasting 3hrs will put more CO2 into the atmosphere per passenger than one tree can deal with in a hundred years (c120kg). This grove is for people who want to try and even that out a bit.

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.

Twinflowers in bloom on pine woodland floor.
