A grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands

Rev. Dr Ian Maxwell was ordained as a minister in the Church of Scotland in November 1977
and has served faithfully in that capacity for 40 years. He has ministered across central Scotland and
also overseas in Africa during that time with kindness and compassion to all who have met him.

Congratulations Ian from all at Uphall South Church

Donated by Uphall South Church

8th November 2017

This grove is a gift from the congregation of Uphall South Church in recognition of Ian's long and faithful service to all his charges during that time. In his spare time he enjoys hill-walking and this grove of trees reflects his character which is that of a quiet man with a strong and unbending faith always there for others to lend support when needed.

Your grove of trees

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
