September, the first of the autumn months. This year, two very special members of the Flitcroft clan celebrate significant birthdays. Both Rachel (16th) and Stefan (7th) turn 30 within days of each other, they are planning to party hard!! I also have a minor celebration because by turning 66 I achieve the status of an O A P-go me! Also in September there are two wedding anniversaries to acknowledge, on the 5th John & Mary have been married for 31 years whilst at the other end of the spectrum, Richard & Vicky celebrate 6 years of wedded bliss on 9th ( the day I turned 60). Congratulations all round, I hope the year ahead is good for one and all.

The summer months of July and August are sparse in terms of birthday's and other celebrations in this family's life, but the individual's who do have a birthday are indeed immense. Firstly is our beloved and much missed sister Cath, who would have turned 63 on July 22nd this year, closely followed by the bearded wonder that is the youngest of the original clan, none other than our Andy, or YoBro as I affectionally call him. Andrew is still in the land of the 50 year old's, 58 to be exact, so Happy Birthdy to him. In August there is only 1 birthday to celebrate, but this year is a big one for Mary, the wonderful and vital other half to John, is turning 60! A tree as been added for each of you, with love xxx

1st of June 2023 sees the 23rd birthdays of the second set of twins, Ben and Dan, born in the Millennium year. At the other end of the spectrum, Maciej attains the age to receive his State Pension, so happy 66th Birthday Maciej and also this month, we remember the wonderful wedding of Molly and Chris last year so Happy 1st Anniversary to you.

The month of May is significant in the life of this family. It is the month in which Mum, Dad and Cath all left this earthly life. Mum (02/05/2004) Dad (01/05/2013) and Cath (25/05/2015), so that's 19, 10 and 8 years without their comforting and energising presence, so a tree for each to expand the grove. In contrast, this month we also celebrate the joyous addition to the family 3 years ago of Joseph Richard so Happy Birthday to him, also Hannah (29) and Molly (28) and lastly but by no means least, what would have been our Mags 64th. A month of mixed emotions by all.

In February, there is just one tree to add, but for an extraordinary person, none other than the wonderful Charli. Hope your special day was amazing. In March a further 3 trees are added, one each for the birthdays of Anita, Rebecca and of course, the primary source of all that follows, Dad, aka Tom Flitcroft. 7 trees in January 2023 for the following: Birthdays of Mum (90), John (61), Liz (40), Matt & Joe (27). Also for the birth of Alfred Robert (10/01/2023) & the 1 year anniversary of Mag's death (28/01/2022) All adding to the majesty of the Caledonian Forest and celebrated with joy by us all.

For the wonderful and amazing Charli in celebration of 3 glorious decades of loveliness and being a top person!! Happy 30th Birthday Charli for February. Enjoy celebrating with family and friends up in the Highlands in your spiritual home of Scotland and may your trees flourish and provide shelter and a home for all kinds of wildlife. Today (20/04/2022) we celebrate the birthday of the eldest Flitcroft Grandson, Richard. He brings much joy to family occasions and is a wonderful husband and father in his own right.
