A grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands

This grove was funded for Paul Ramsay with love and thanks from his colleagues at the University of Portsmouth.

Paul has brought to his work with the 'ASK' team at the University, initially as a team member and latterly as team leader, a passion, wisdom and diligence that we his friends and colleagues have dearly valued. Now as he retires from this role, we want to show our gratitude and celebrate his achievement, and knowing as we do of his love of nature, we hope this grove of 30 trees, to be added to Trees for Life's amazing restored tracts of native forest, will suit. Here in the semi-wild Scottish Highlands, these trees will bring back life in all its complexity and beauty, and sustain that life for many centuries to come.

Your grove of trees

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.

Twinflowers in bloom on pine woodland floor.
