A Grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands
Family Grove
Started Christmas 2017

I started this grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands to celebrate family in a long lasting tangible way,
with roots in the earth. To create a sense of celebration and continuity. And that no matter where everyone is
there is always a place that in some way connects us. :)

The trees that will be planted in this grove will all be native to the Scottish Highlands. A part of the ancient Caledonian Rainforest, of which there is only a small amount left. By planting these trees the rare and precious indigenous ecology will be preserved for generations to come. Ecosystems will be restored and established. And wildlife will have a home. I am passionate about this wild native ecology in Scotland and have seen how absolutely beautiful it is. Hopefully you will consider adding to this grove as the family grows and to mark some of the special moments in life. This is a wonderful opportunity to impact the balance of life on Earth in a positive way, to give back in a small way to the nature that sustains us so abundantly every day.

Your grove of trees

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.

Twinflowers in bloom on pine woodland floor.
A Scotch argus butterfly on common ragwort.
