There is something magical and good for the soul about waking up alone in the forest and walking out as the sun rises. The silence rings in your ears, a glorious stately calm. As the sun climbs higher the light works down from the tops of the pines, their bark glows orange until finally the forest floor is full of light. As the deer melt away the birds appear.

We hope our grandchildren come to know this feeling.

Your grove of trees

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.

Scots pine against a summer blue sky.
Twinflowers in bloom on pine woodland floor.
A Scotch argus butterfly on common ragwort.
