Lady Margaret Stephenson, renowned organiser, notable story-teller, wildlife enthusiast, and Scottish patriot now has a grove, soon to be wood, and eventual forest, planted in her name.

As well as the birthplace of Merlin, the ancient Caledonian forest is one of the places of King Arthur's twelve legendary battles. It is also where the now infamous Ninth Roman Legion disappeared, swallowed up by the trees and subject to an unknown fate.

Once the domain of Herne the Hunter, as the Caledonian Forest is replanted, the plants and animals which rely on the cover of the trees will return. Lady Margaret Stephenson's Forest will contribute to that future.

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
