Pez was a keen mountaineer and climber, seeking wilderness and adventure around the world but especially in Scotland, the Lake District and North Wales. His passion was contagious; he introduced many others to the beauty and thrill of the mountains and wilderness. Caring for the environment and wildlife that fuelled his passion and gave him so much joy honours his memory and secures a legacy for future generations to enjoy.

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
