This grove is to celebrate the life of Doreen Barnfather, her friends and relations.

At the age of 90 Doreen is still wild at heart. She's always loved trees and woodlands so what better way to celebrate her 90th birthday than by planting a grove of trees up in the highlands? We hope that one day in the future the trees planted here will be a woodland rich in wildlife, filled with the sound of birdsong and the fresh scent of pine needles.
Lauren and Courtenay have started the grove with eight trees, but we hope that many others will want to add a tree to Doreen's wood. We know that Doreen has touched many people's lives - bringing good cheer, company and lots and lots of laughs to everyone she encounters. We (Doreen's family) are truly blessed to still have her around and her irreverant spirit and feisty attitude continue to be a source of strength and encouragement for all that we do.
