A Grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands
Y MacLeod’s Wood
William John MacLeod (Y)
A good life 1930-2018

A lasting memorial to a very special friend this grove is planted for Y who loved the Scottish countryside,
the hills, mountains, lochs and shoreline.

What a wonderful idea, I believe he would have been very touched by this.

I remember a walk through a forest with Y. He was marking it for clearing and remarked about 'the odd midgie'.

Y would be amazed to have his memory live on within his own wood. A fitting tribute to him, having been a huge expert in forestry and had a great knowledge of all things Arboreal.
