Dora's interest in native Scottish trees first became apparent during the famous "Plant a Tree in 73"
Government-sponsored campaign. Her enthusiasm was infectious and led to the planting of many trees
by Dora and her family in 1973, and in the years to come. She later became a life member of Trees for Life
and this grove is a wonderful way of continuing her legacy and celebrating her life.
