Red squirrel volunteering

If you would like to volunteer with red squirrels, the best thing to do is to either contact your local red squirrel group or a conservation organisation that is working with red squirrels. Click on the links below to find opportunities in different parts of the UK.

Trees for Life - Red Squirrel Reintroduction Project

Our Red Squirrel Reintroduction Project is creating new populations of red squirrels in the northwest Highlands by translocating reds from healthy populations in the central Highlands and Moray. We need volunteers each spring and autumn to help with baiting feeders and there may be opportunities to take part in translocations as well.
