Trees for Life began practical work in 1989. In the years since then, as well as removing hundreds of acres of non-native species, establishing a flourishing nursery in which we grow more than over 60,000 trees per year, and pulling down miles of redundant fences to help wildlife, we have established 44 major tree-planting sites. These are shown on this map, with further information about some of them given below.
