Created to mark the publication of The Forest Guide: Scotland (Bloomsbury Publishing) by author Gabriel Hemery. I had the huge privilege of visiting so many wild and beautiful forest sites while writing and researching this book. I hope that the guidebook will inspire readers to care for trees and the natural world, and perhaps to give a little back to help restore nature. I have huge respect for the work of Trees for Life and am pleased to feature and promote its important work in the guidebook.
