Let these trees be a small outpost for the memory of the United Kingdom when the people of Scotland vote for independence. Happy 70th amongst all this chaos.

Throughout his life, our Father, David, has always loved being outdoors in beautiful, wild places. Together with Julia, our Mother, he has instilled in us all a real love of nature. As children, we were lucky, thanks to them, to spend a lot of time outside, either on the water in Strangford Lough or the Firth of Forth or in Scotland and Northern Ireland's beautiful beaches, mountains and forests. Our family has always loved trees and, in beginning this grove, we are following in the footsteps of David's Mother, Frances, who in her lifetime planted an area of woodland. Happy 70th Birthday to an amazing Dad, let's see how these trees will grow and multiply! With love from Sarah, Jenni, Peter, Nicola and all the Family
