In loving memory of Alec and Isobel Ramsay (m.s. Watt)
Donated by David, Neil, Yvonne and Stuart Ramsay
13th January 2015
For our parents, Alexander and Isobel Ramsay, who lived and worked in Strathglass and Strathconon. In the 1950s, dad got a job with the Hydro Electric Board, so they upped sticks and migrated from the fertile farmlands of Aberdeenshire to the mountainous, water-rich Highlands, first to Cannich then remote Conon Falls where he worked on the area’s many dams. Sadly, in 1962, dad died leaving our mother with four young children to raise single-handedly, which she did heroically. Mam and dad, we salute you.
