Fundraising ideas to support rewilding

Sponsored events are a fantastic way to raise money for rewilding while having fun and making a difference – whether it’s a run, cycle, hike, or something unique! Setting up a JustGiving page is a quick and simple way to ask for sponsorship and share your passion for rewilding with others.

A great way to share our message and promote the restoration of the wild forest is to ask for donations to be made instead of gifts for a wedding, birthday or other special events. You can set up your own grove page so that friends and family can leave messages and images to celebrate.

Probably the simplest way you can help to promote the work of Trees for Life is through social media. Please follow, like, tag and share posts on Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, X, LinkedIn and YouTube. You can also create Facebook fundraisers, and on Instagram just add the ‘Donation’ sticker to your stories, or tap ‘Add Fundraiser’ when creating a post.

Give while you shop online, at no extra cost to you. Choose from your favourite brands and easily turn your everyday online shopping into a way to support rewilding. Simply sign up, search for a retailer and start shopping!

Help us spread the word by handing out leaflets. You could place some in your local university common room, youth hostel, doctor’s surgery, shop or anywhere else you can think of. Please email hello@treesforlife.org.uk to request leaflets, or to discuss other ways in which you could help.
