To Beryl and Karel. You were both a constant in my life from my earliest memories in Taunton Road. You were a huge part of our very happy childhood growing up there - and even though we kids grew up and moved away, I always loved catching up when we had the many "get togethers" over the years. All those memories of playing in the woods, starting "big" school, playing all the time with Mandy and Lex, Tina!, coming to your house for tea (then going to Kath's house and telling her we were hungry because you hadn't fed us - and would she make us some chips haha), are such treasured happy memories and will always stay with me. So thank you for all the fun and laughs we shared over many (50) years. Enjoy that bottle of red up there - and have a laugh thinking of me almost giving poor old Kath a heart attack when she nearly ran me over - or asking the poor widow down the road if her daddy had turned into a skeleton yet..... :-) Wonderful times, and a wonderful legacy in the girls and so many amazing and talented grandkids.
