At Alchemy Projects we are a environmentally conscious building firm operating in and around Bristol. We specialise in low carbon building materials and processes in every project we undertake. Whilst every effort on each project is made to ensure all the materials used have low environmental impacts both in their manufacture, use and disposal this is not always possible. This grove helps us offset elements of the building process that we have no option but to use (mainly concrete) and also allows us to offset our operational business carbon footprint. For each project we undertake (regardless of size) we plant a tree, we then also plant trees for each project based on the calculated carbon footprint of the project (1 tree per cu metre of concrete etc). Along side this we monitor our business mileage annually, calculate our operational carbon footprint and plant trees accordingly.
