Fernweh UK is a bag and accessories brand founded by designer/maker Laura Sherriffs. I create high quality, handcrafted waxed cotton canvas bags and accessories inspired by a sense of adventure and the Scottish wilderness. Colour palettes reflect the rich landscapes, coasts and lochans of the Highlands and North East, and I use natural and traditional materials such as Scottish waxed canvas, wools and leather which tie my work directly to the land. I use this natural inspiration to create high quality, purpose driven bags that bring a little bit of adventure into every day life.   Another passion of mine is sustainability, and I want to build a business which reflects these values.
