The Adventure Connection is committed to helping to reduce carbon emissions. In 2020 The Adventure Connection joined 'Tourism Declares a Climate Emergency' and committed to measure, reduce and offset its carbon emissions every year. As part of this commitment a grove of trees was planted through Trees For Life to offset approximately 150% of the carbon emitted in 2020 (2,077kg of CO2e). In 2021, the company calculated that 6,462kg (6.4 tonnes) of CO2e were emitted through its business activities so an additional 40 trees are being planted to offset approximately 150% of the carbon emitted (i.e. planting to offset 10 tonnes of CO2e).
