We plant this grove in memory of Jeremy, our loving and loved husband, dad, grandad, father-in-law, brother and uncle, dependable friend to many, committed GP and counsellor. Jeremy's values and priorities will always inspire us and live on through our memories of him. He was a humanist, doctor, psychotherapist, passionate European, Germanophile and historian. We think of him and think of his kindness, intuition, integrity, humility, pragmatism and intelligence. It was very important to him to be honorable and he always was. When asked what he would say to the next generation was the most important thing in life, he answered, "Be kind to each other.". He trod lightly on the earth and believed strongly that we had our time here, could do good, and then went back to the earth - and that was ok. He was not sad or scared to go - it was a life well-lived.
