The Scottish Sporting Car Club Limited is a long-established motorsport club based in west central Scotland. Although motorsport contributes only a very small percentage to overall carbon emissions, our club is fully aware of our responsibilities regarding sustainability and thus has embarked on a programme to reduce our environmental impact. One aspect of this programme is to offset our emissions as far as we are able by supporting Trees for Life and their work to reforest the highlands of Scotland. In order to achieve this we add a levy to each entry received for our motorsport events, which in turn is donated to Trees for Life to plant more trees at their site at Dundreggan. Members are also encouraged to make additional donations should they wish. We realise it will be some time before the newly planted saplings will start to be effective, but over time our contribution will increase adding to the overall benefits of the Estate.
