A marriage is a time to reflect on the things most important in life. The climate and ecological crisis is the greatest threat facing all life on Earth, and is something we care deeply about tackling. It can be an overwhelming subject to consider, but we believe small actions can create the ripples that in turn, will produce the waves of widespread action. Our natural environments have been severely damaged over the centuries for many reasons, and the UK is now regarded as one of the most nature depleted countries in the world; we want to help reverse this by contributing to the re-wilding of the Scottish Highlands. Trees are amazing: they capture carbon from our atmosphere and provide homes for a diverse array of wildlife to thrive - they are one of our greatest allies in tackling the climate and ecological crisis. We would like to encourage all our family and friends to contribute to our marriage grove and to make their own ripples in whatever way they can. Kim and James xx
