John worked in forestry with his uncle as a young man. He grew trees all his life & gave them as gifts to family & friends that has resulted in so many trees across Scotland & Ireland. That legacy has continued with his daughters doing the same. This grove in his memory will continue his passion. 10 trees planted by John’s loving wife Jackie

I always remember my Uncle John as a jovial gentle giant (at least when I was small). These trees will emulate that memory for me. Love to all the Irish Reids and are thoughts are with you from afar. Ian, Karen, Lewis and Macallan

I'd like to think that in 100+ years time, when a bough of one of these trees comes down in a storm, a man might find it and think "I could use my lathe and turn this into a beautiful wooden lampstand and give it to my niece as a Wedding gift" and that niece will fondly remember her kind, funny uncle every time she turns on her lamp! Just like I do now.
