Coille is the Scottish Gaelic word for forest. And so it is our wish to create a small spot in an ancient place where Avi's spirit will feel at home, surrounded by trees representing the embrace of those who must love him in his absence, and imagine the man he would have become. Our hope is that Avi Lir's grove will live on, multiply, flourish, and one day become a highland forest worthy of the child whose brief time here changed everything.
