Trees in this grove are planted as prizes for runners who come first, second or third in their category at the yearly Kilpatricks Kaper Hill race, held near Glasgow in May. This is a race which tries to promote sustainability and inclusion so that everybody is able to run in wild, and nature filled spaces responsibilty and for generations to come.
