I will be donating to Trees For Life to plant trees as a way to give gifts that really benefit the planet, in a world where we have little need for increased consumerism, and as a way to offset the carbon emissions of family holidays and work travel. I will donate to plant trees to celebrate family birthdays, and would appreciate donations to this cause for my own birthday! The Caledonian pine forest is one of my favourite habitat types for walking, mountain biking and foraging in. The Scots pine and silver birch are two of my Top 5 species of tree.
