Edocs: Doing more for our customers and the environment.Domestic & General is the UK’s leading specialist warranty provider with 9 million customers in the UK alone. Last year, we completed 2.4 million repairs and replaced 0.5 million broken appliances.

We want to do more to help – not only our customers but the environment as well. Currently, we send paper documents to our customers which equates to almost 30 million pieces of paper. This year we want to send as many documents by email as possible and reduce the amount of paper we use as a business. We’ve set ourselves an ambitious target which we’d love to exceed.

We’ve found out that one tree can be used to print 5,000 documents. So, for every 5,000 documents we send by email we’ve committed to planting a tree with Trees for Life. We want to leave a legacy for the progress that we’re making together because we can’t achieve this without the support and drive of everyone across the business.
