Eric was a loving and gentle man, a quiet, grounded person who related deeply to the natural world and inspired all his family with his love and appreciation of it. He was deeply rooted in Derbyshire and its countryside. He would have loved the idea of a memorial grove, with its beautiful intention of helping to re-forest the planet.
