Frank Bruce
'Carry in your memory, for the rest of your life, the good things that came out of your difficulties. They will serve as a proof of your abilities and will give you confidence when you are faced by other obstacles.'
'Paulo Coelho' Manual of the Warrior of Light
Creative ability is a beautiful talent and should at all times be respected.
Frank Bruce's sculpture came from the heart and spoke to the heart, honest and raw his work shows us what he felt and wanted each of us to appreciate.
Frank's work came from wind-blown trees at Inshriach part of the Caledonian Forest. The underlying theme of Frank Bruce sculptures is the global conflict between patriotism and poverty. If Frank Bruce had been a writer he would have written polemics on this theme but as an artist he turned his fears for the world into powerful sculptures depicting the icons of patriotism and the tragedies of world poverty.
Frank's work can be enjoyed at his sculpture trail in Feshiebridge, if you would like to support the trail you can become a friend of the Frank Bruce Sculpture Trust: www.frank-bruce.org.uk
You can also donate to Trees for Life which can provide more trees for the Grove.
The funds donated to this grove came from a Christmas Craft fair which was at St.Johns Church Rothiemurchus.
