In loving memory of my Aunty Helen who passed away on the 25th of August, surrounded by her loving husband Ian, and their two children, Kirsty and Donald. Helen was also a devoted Granny to Kayleigh and Patrick who will miss her terribly, as will the whole family, particularly her Mum and Brother Alan. Helen who originated from Edinburgh, spent most of her married life living and working together with Ian on the Ardtornish Estate, where they ran Ardtornish Kitchen Gardens. They ran a well established business and were highly regarded by the local community, which was evident in the turnout at the funeral. They both have loved living there and spent many hours walking and appreciating the local wildlife. They spent their last few holidays together walking, in the Inverness area, and I believe have actually camped, many years ago, close to where the Memorial Grove is to be planted. It is with this in mind that I feel it's a fitting tribute to commemorate Helens passing with a grove where in years to come the family can reminice of happier times. Our thoughts are with you all. All our love Karen, Kev, Steve & Amy xxxx
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
