For Christmas 2013, Uncle Jamie and Auntie Janine wanted to give a present to their family that contributed to the restoration of diversity and stability of the British natural environment, and a tolerable future for the younger members. The Caledonian Forest is an ecosystem under threat, and also the home to some of our best loved endangered animals including Wild Cats, Red Squirrels, and Capercaillie, so the idea of a grove where each tree represented a member of the family, seemed to us a lovely and appropriate idea and ideal.
