The Wealden Literary Festival is a celebration of the outdoors, the natural world and the earth beneath our feet. The festival is held in the enchanting gardens of Boldshaves in a magical corner of the Weald of Kent and Sussex and seeks to give flight to the wonderful ideas and descriptions contained in literature by offering a living, breathing, hands-on experience of nature and place.

Over the course of the weekend, some of the best loved place, nature and travel writers will be talking about their books and their passion for the natural world in the enchanting surroundings of Boldshaves Gardens. During the weekend festival goers can donate £5 to plant a tree and stand the chance to win ‘Into the Forest: An anthology of tree poems’. Each tree will be planted to help restore the Caledonian Forest in the Highlands of Scotland.
