As a commercial photography studio with our main base in The Netherlands, we regularly travel between Scotland and the continent for assignments in commercial photography, architecture and interiors. We try to combine this as much as we can with the pleasures that Scottish culture and landscape have to offer.
We are keenly aware that this travel dramatically increases our carbon footprint. To help mitigate this and to further contribute to a more sustainable future, we have started this grove in addition to our solar powered studio and solar powered home. We plan to let the grove grow and expand further and by doing so we hope to help create to a more sustainable future for all.

I was asked to inspire the local photography club ‘Fotoclub Heino’ with a talk about portrait photography and portrait lighting techniques. Having good experience myself with camera clubs in both Zwolle and Falkirk, I invited the members to come to the studio. We had a very enjoyable and interactive evening and at the end of the night I was handed an envelope with a donation. That donation is now converted into trees in the lovely Scottish Highlands!Donated by STUDIOVHF

Planted on behalf our customer who planned a photo shoot in December and asked to be invoiced in the new year. They offered to pay extra for the privilege! As the interest isn't that high, and the customer uses our photo studio regularly, we would normally treat this as an extra customer service. In this instance however we accepted the offer, with more trees for our grove at the back of our mind08/02/2021
